OK Rachel...you've created a monster here -
Music has a way of touching hearts that mere words cannot. And you always seem to find just the right song! I've taken some that you've helped us discover and created the playlist - so when you log onto the blog, stay long enough to let the songs load. You can go to the player on the right side of the screen and pick a song to hear or just let them shuffle randomly. Hopefully you'll hear a different one each time you log on. I added Dan Fogelberg's Leader of the band because it's a song Seth sent dad years ago (for great reasons!).
Please send song suggestions to add to the playlist!
Love to all - HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Julia, you're amazing. I left a facebook note when I realized you'd installed the playlist player! Perfect. As you can see, I was fumbling around, trying to do something similar, but I honestly never knew where it would pop up, or if it would. This is much better! I've sent you a message, so you can go on my playlist page, see what I have, and take whatever you think will be appropriate on the road home page. Thanks sooo much for doing this. I don't l exactly know why music has such an immediate, potent impact on me, but it does. Sometimes I get a little excessive in wanting to share, but only because it feels really ferat to listen to the right song for the current situation. Thanks for your effort. Love ya. Have a perfectly wonderful Thanksgiving, and hug my kids, ok? Oh, by the way, no such thing as too much Grandma bragging. By definition, there is no credit card limit on how much fun you're allowed to have, how many photos, outfits purchased, or anecdotes shared with the rest of us. We want to hear, and besides, then we (I) won't feel so foolish when we saturate the world when itsw our turn. Babies are like spring all year round, or, for me, maybe autumn...my favorite season.
ReplyDeleteThe username is joynessalways on the playlist, so look for an email with the info. Love you!
